I've been farming this dungeon last week. After 25 runs on HM, the first Bone Dragon Staff is yet to drop from Fenji's chest for me. I'm wondering now what the chance is of getting one. Got two suntouched staves, but the drope rate is prolly higher than that of a BDS.

Have you been farming this dungeon and if so can you tell me something about your drop rate concerning a BDS? Thanks for the info.

Ive done over 300 runs myself, and have only seen 2 drop. The drop rate is extremely low, hence why they are still fairly expensive.

15-20 runs, q10 or 11 blood dropped (not for me)

Honestly its more luck based than anything else

Did quite a few runs in SoO but never got one. Friend of mine did the Dungeon in HM with Heroes for his Title and directly got a q12 resto on his first attempt.

If you keep doing the same run over and over, you going to activate anti-farm code. Anet states it doesnt exist, but can be witnessed by entering the same area over and over, you watch you drops slowly diminish from gold and purples to nothing but whites..not even a blue..oh and also every time you open a hm chest..its a grape.

If you want to maximize your odds of getting a BDS from this chest, break up your runs..do a HM Book, do some Missions..and when golds start dropping for you again..then go hit the dungeon.

After doing 50+ runs I haven't gotten one, and I don't expect one for at least another 100 runs; that's how low the drop rates are :P

My monk has achieved rank 10 delver (from rank 0) by only running SoO and has never gotten a BDS.
I'm fairly certain that's way over 100 runs and if not it sure feels like it.

It is possible to farm the BDS. I've done maybe 10 SoO runs at most over the last 2 months (didn't really start dungeon running til then). Out of which I've had 2 Suntouched Staffs (r9 divine & r12 soul) & 2 Bone Dragon Staffs (r12 soul & q12 blood) drop for me.

Sounds exactly like my monk. Currently at R8 almost R9 Delver and R7 Asura, still no BDS. Oh I forgot to mention I'm running GW2x so I'm getting 4 drops from then end chest, once again still no BDS. I know that I have over 100 runs combined on both accounts. It's all a matter of luck. My typically drops for 2 accounts at then end are 2 rocks (diamond or onyx) & 2 greens, 3 rocks & 1 green, 3 rocks & 1 gold. Very rarely have I got 2 or more golds from the chest, guess I'm not very lucky.

I have done about 10 runs in the last 3 months, and got 2 BDS drops.. a Req 10 Divine Favor and a Req 11 Spawning..

done around 400 personally. none dropped for me, but I've seen a teammate get one about 1/30 to 1/40

around 50 runs q12 soul reaping and q13 divine for me and a q10 fire(or maybe energy storage) for someone else, however, at same time around 30 runs for Kathandrax pulled q13 eblade and a q10 eblade (now caster modded for myself) and saw 1 other drop. Maybe I'm just lucky...

Seriously? I have been playing Guild Wars since release...

You obviously have not, hence thinking their is an anti farm code. Guild wars used to have the code in, and it was nothing like it is now. They took the code off a long time ago. And the games farming mechanics have also changed a lot.

It's based on random odds... not a code. Example, you farm raptors, and some times your gold drops look like this,

4 - 2
5 - 0
6 - 0
7 - 3
8 - 2
9 - 1
10 - 0

It's entirely random now, and has also been proven to be based on when you enter an instance. Time based.

People have done much experimenting in the past, and timed entrances into instances, and they ended up getting the same drops as one another several times.

Anyways, that's far off topic. Point I am trying to make, is that their is no farm code.

Yea, I think that was proven, which means that the odds of you getting a BDS depend on when you enter the dungeon. If someone could figure the right time to enter the dungeon than they could get really rich =O!

There is a 600/smite build for this however, because of skills the 600 must have there is no room for Light of Deldrimor, also the run to the dungeon can be tricky is you don't know how. I know there is a way to run an Ele/D also but don't know build. So, if want to run HM, I think two person at a minimum is necessary.

I've seen > 20 drop in my time... and had 1 drop for me personally (q10 Illusion BDS).

Honestly, I dont see why they are THAT rare...
